My Story
I became a single mom at 18. At that point, business and side hustles were not hobbies or passion projects — they were survival. They helped me adapt, create stability, and keep moving forward during some of the hardest seasons of my life.
I tried a lot of different things over the years. Some ideas worked beautifully. Others fell completely flat. But here is what I learned: every single idea taught me something, and every attempt — successful or not — built my confidence in ways I did not expect.
Fast forward nearly two decades, and the ideas still have not stopped coming. My brain generates business concepts faster than I could ever realistically execute them. I started to realize that was not a flaw — it was actually a gift I could share.
So instead of letting those ideas collect dust, I built Misty's Idea Lab to give them somewhere to go. And more importantly, to give them to you.
Why I Share the Ideas Instead of Pursuing Them All
I share ideas instead of pursuing them so that other women can build them.
